WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE CRISPY AIR FRYER PIZZA ROLLS?
I enjoy preparing pizza rolls in the air fryer because I adore how crispy they are. Most of my favorite dishes are prepared in a Cosori Air Fryer. The only other item you require is frozen pizza rolls in addition to an air fryer. Totino’s brand pepperoni pizza rolls are what I use.
In my regular order, there are roughly 50 little pizza pockets in the extra large bag. I only use half at a time because we can’t consume that many at once.
With this quick and easy recipe, you may easily create 25 pizza rolls at once. And from start to finish, they take less than 15 minutes.
WHAT ARE PIZZA ROLLS?
Pizza rolls are a popular frozen snack offered in the USA that are created with pizza sauce and other toppings and wrapped in an egg roll or wonton wrapper.

This article explains how to air fried frozen pizza rolls. Pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your preferred pizza toppings may be combined with wonton wrappers to create a homemade pizza roll recipe.

INGREDIENTS
Rolls of frozen pizza. Any brand of frozen pizza egg rolls may be prepared using these instructions. I typically prepare Totinos pizza rolls, but the same instructions work just as well for Annie’s Pizza Poppers, Mama Cozzi’s pizza snacks, or Kroger pizza snack rolls.
Oil spray is optional. Pizza rolls don’t require additional oil to cook correctly in an air fryer, but the trick to making them extra crispy is to spritz them with olive oil just before air frying (note: try to avoid using generic “cooking spray” since it might harm your air fryer’s non-stick coating).
Toppings and dipping sauce. Pizza rolls are fantastic on their own, but they are at their very best when they are dipped in something or covered in something. Tomato salsa, shredded cheese, and sour cream (nacho-style) are superior to tomato sauce.
DIRECTIONS
Step 1: Heat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
Although some air fryers claim you don’t need to pre-heat them, I have found that utilizing a prepared air fryer yields superior results when cooking items with a quick cook time (like the majority of frozen meals).
Place frozen pizza rolls in the air fryer in step 2.
Pizza rolls should be put in a single layer. It’s fine if they’re touching, but if they’re stacked or overlapping, the cooking time will be longer, and you’ll need to shake the basket a few times to ensure equal cooking.
Step 3. Air fried the pizza rolls.
For 5-8 minutes, air fried frozen pizza rolls till crispy and golden brown. Make frequent checks to make sure they are not overdone.
Serve and eat in step four!
Put some of your favorite dipping sauce on top and eat. Once they have sufficiently cooled off to eat, that is!
How long does it take to cook pizza rolls in the air fryer?
When preparing pizza rolls for the first time, it might be challenging to get the cook time precisely correct. The amount of pizza rolls you are air frying and the power and efficiency of your air fryer model will both affect how long it will take to cook them.
Expect cook times to be closer to 5 minutes if you use a strong brand of air fryer like a Philips, Nuwave, or Ninja Foodi. A weaker model will require more time.
Starting at around 4 minutes into the cooking process, I would advise checking frequently.
If the pizza rolls rupture during cooking and leak filling into your air fryer pan, you have overcooked them and will know it. Make a note (print the recipe card below) if this occurs to you and try cooking for a minute or two less the following time.

SERVING
Serve the pizza rolls with your preferred sauce for dipping once they are cooked to your preference. My personal favorites are regular tomato ketchup and barbecue sauce, although ranch dressing and sour cream are also fantastic alternatives.
As an alternative, you might want to consider these suggestions for how to spruce up pizza rolls:
When they are hot off the air fryer but before they cool, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Add a sprinkle of diced pepperoni or bacon.
Serve them with chili, shredded cheese, tomato salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and other toppings like nachos.
Put some pesto on top.
Serve with cheese and marinara sauce in a bun or rolled up in a tortilla.
Whatever way you serve them, be careful while biting into hot pizza rolls that have just come out of the air fryer.
STORING AND REHEATING
Pizza rolls that are remaining should be used within three days and kept in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
The pizza rolls can be warmed through in the air fryer by air frying for around 2 minutes. However, they won’t be as crispy as if you reheat in an air fryer. As an alternative, you may reheat them in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds on high.
