HOW TO COOK TERIYAKI SALMON IN THE AIR FRYER?
Sauté the garlic first. With the medium heat on, add the minced garlic and the toasted sesame oil. Stir often for about a minute, or until the sesame oil is soft and aromatic.
Add cornstarch in step two. Cornstarch should be added until a smooth slurry is formed.
Make the teriyaki sauce in step three. Ginger and coconut aminos are combined. In a medium saucepan or pot, combine the teriyaki sauce ingredients and heat to a simmer. Remove from heat and set aside to cool after simmering for two to three minutes until thickened. Put it in the refrigerator for a little while to hasten the process.
Step 4 is to teriyaki-marinate the fish. While waiting, use a paper towel to pat the salmon fillets dry. Place the salmon skin side up in a shallow dish and cover the flesh with about 3/4 of the teriyaki sauce. After removing the fish, don’t discard the marinade; you’ll subsequently use some of the remains to brush the fish.
Place salmon fillets in the air fryer in step 5. Place the salmon fillets skin side down on the oil-sprayed bottom of the air fryer, which has been preheated to 400 degrees. After 7 minutes of air frying, immediately brush some of the leftover marinade over the top of the fillets. 3 more minutes of cooking. The fish should be perfectly medium-rare as a result.
Finish the teriyaki salmon in step six. The salmon should be taken out of the air fryer and served with sides. Serve with a tiny side of the 1/4 remaining teriyaki sauce, if anybody wants a little extra, and top with toasted sesame seeds and thinly sliced scallions, if preferred.
For the greatest flavor, make your own teriyaki sauce at home and taste-test it. You may also use your preferred teriyaki sauce from a bottle.

HOW TO STORE?
Salmon should be allowed to cool before putting it in an airtight container to store for up to three days in the fridge. This recipe shouldn’t be frozen, in my opinion.
Salmon should be heated thoroughly in the microwave, covered with a paper towel, at 30-second intervals.
SIDE DISH IDEAS
Rice, whether brown or white, goes great with this fish teriyaki air fryer dish. To prepare dinner really quickly, I like to get the microwaveable packages from Trader Joe’s. Quinoa would be suitable if you wanted to add more protein.
