HOW TO MAKE THE BEST AIR FRYER SHORT RIBS?

Make the short ribs marinade. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to coat the ribs equally in a large mixing dish or Ziploc bag. If you’re using a Ziploc bag, mash the spice to distribute it evenly. To fully absorb the flavor of the marinade, let the ribs sit for at least 15 minutes.

Air fry Put the marinated ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 13 to 15 minutes at 350°F, or until golden and crispy. To cook the ribs evenly, partly shake the basket.

Serve. Serve right away with your preferred dipping sauce, such as ranch, ketchup, spicy mayo, or sweet chili sauce.

For baking, arrange the marinated short ribs in a single layer on a quarter-sheet baking pan coated with parchment, and bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until crispy and browned.

To deep fry, heat oil in a medium frying pot (at least 2-inches deep) for 3–4 minutes, or until it shimmers, on medium–high heat. The marinated ribs should be deep-fried for 5–7 minutes, or until golden brown. In order to get an equal golden crust on all sides, turn the ribs occasionally. FAQs

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEEF RIBS AND BEEF SHORT RIBS?

Back ribs, often known as beef ribs, are located close to the animal’s spine in the back. After the butcher separates the Prime Rib cut from the bones, these are what are left. On the other hand, short ribs originate from the short plate, which is the bottom part of the rib cage.

WHAT TEMPERATURE SHOULD SHORT RIBS BE COOKED TO?

Once the internal temperature hits 205 degrees Fahrenheit, your ribs are fully cooked. For the most exact cook time, I advise using an Instant Read thermometer.

IS THE AIR FRYER GOOD FOR COOKING SHORT RIBS?

Absolutely! For a couple reasons, it’s one of my favorite methods for preparing this cut of beef.

First off, short ribs get tough when prepared incorrectly. This often indicates that they were heated up too much and fried too rapidly. Convection cooking in an air fryer allows you to swiftly break down the meat for juicy, succulent ribs that never come out harsh.

Second, it’s a lot quicker! Your Korean short ribs will be ready to eat in the air fryer in around 15 minutes rather than cooking slowly in the oven.

HOW MANY SHORT RIBS PER PERSON?

Generally speaking, it’s reasonable to expect that each adult will consume two short ribs. You should aim to serve each individual around a half-pound of meat.
