I’ll share my insider trick for cutting corn into ribs that is quick, simple, and only requires 8 ingredients (salt and olive oil are included). They are the finest summertime snack and obscenely tasty!

After a few unsuccessful (and risky) efforts, it was discovered that briefly heating the corn in the microwave before cutting it into ribs worked the best.
Use a chef’s knife that is sharp.
Prepare a stable, motionless cutting board surface.
Allow the corn to cool after 2 minutes on high in the microwave.

If that seems frightening to you, try this instead: After you microwave the full corn on the cob and trim the ends, cut the cob in half (width-wise), half, and quarters vertically to get 8 shorter pieces per cob. The shorter length of the corn makes it easier to cut through and reduces the possibility of mishaps.
To avoid accidently cutting oneself, make sure the hand holding the corn has its fingers curled in.
How to make air fryer corn on the cob (corn ribs)?
Remove the corn from the husk and trim the ends to prepare it.
Microwave: For two minutes on high, zap the entire ear of corn. Cool down.
Slice into ribs: Place the corn vertically (stand it up) and, using a sharp chef’s knife and a stable cutting board, gently and slowly cut it in half. Then, cut those halves into quarters.
Brush the ribs with butter and olive oil to season. Add salt, paprika, garlic powder, and dried parsley to the dish to season.
Air fried for 12 total minutes at 400°F (204°C) (flip after 6 minutes).
In the oven, roast the potatoes for 12 to 15 minutes at 425°F (218°C) or until they are somewhat crispy and gently browned.
To serve, lightly spread mayonnaise over the corn ribs and top with more parsley.
Make quick dipping sauce
I adore drizzling sauce over corn ribs. My preferred dipping sauces for air fryer corn ribs are melted butter, whipped feta dip, and tzatziki. Combine 1/4 cup mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon of your preferred BBQ sauce for a fast, low-effort sauce.
You may serve them as a snack or as a side dish with supper. The corn cobs are still not eaten; just the kernels are! Add extra fresh herbs as a garnish, and serve with lemon or lime wedges for drizzling.

These corn ribs from the air fryer may be spiced up in so many wonderful ways. To adjust the flavor of the butter, simply alter the spices that are added in. These are a few of my favorites:
Use 1 teaspoon each of chili powder, taco seasoning, garlic powder, and lemon pepper spice for making elote (Mexican street corn). Then top the cooked ribs with Cotija cheese and lime juice.
Sweet: For a sweet and mouthwatering dessert, combine 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Jamaican: Combine the butter and 1/2 tablespoon of jerk spice.
How to store?
The ideal time to consume them is straight away. However, keep any leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container. Put them in the microwave for 15 seconds or an air fryer at 350 degrees F for 3 minutes to warm. Another choice is to remove the riblets’ kernels and add them to a salad or soup.
